FROM JB:
Even though we had gone on countless rides, met half a dozen characters (and got their autographs) the day seemed never ending. And I mean that in a good way. It was hot outside and their feet were getting tired, the kids powered through the afternoon to take in as much as they could. With the sun setting and it almost being departure time, it was time to go shopping. Every year the kids get to run wild through the stores (not literally, of course) and take home some goodies for themselves and their loved ones. It is interesting to hear why they buy what they buy and the stories they have about their families.
Also, I had a chance to chat with Mayor Bowman as the day at Disney World came to an end.

FROM JB:
It is traditionally the loudest flight you could ever be on while heading to Orlando, the return flight is the quietest you will ever experience. Why? Well, I think the pictures speak for themselves.
The plane got into Winnipeg after midnight with the youngsters reuniting with their families at about 1 a.m.
I can only imagine the stories they told their friends at school the next day.
Thanks to everyone at Air Canada and the sponsors of Dreams Take Flight. It was a great journey and so exciting to share the special day with the kids. For more information about the organization, go to
